Advanced Aluminized Fabrics for Industrial Safety & Heat Shielding
The Z-Flex II Multilayer Vacuum Vapor deposition process allows this aluminized film to move with the fabric when there is bending and flexing. Aluminized fabrics are well-suited for safety apparel applications, as well as automotive and other heat shielding applications with high vibration or movement.
DualMirror II Aluminized Fabrics combine a base material like fiberglass with an aluminum coating for effective radiant heat reflection and durability in extreme heat environments. Widely used in protective clothing and heat shields, these fabrics are essential in industrial and firefighting settings, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
These fabrics are laminated with a very thin extruded aluminum foil. Ideal for static heat shielding applications. Our Z-Flex® II Aluminum Foil fabrics are an economical option for heat shielding applications.
Z-Flex® II Multilayer Aluminized Fabrics are specifically designed for industrial safety apparel, proximity suits, and heat shields used in high temperature environments like metal casting, glass forming, and industrial firefighting operations. These radiant heat reflecting aluminized fabrics protect from high temperatures, radiant energy, flames, sparks, and molten metal splash.
Z-Flex® II Aluminized Fabrics are available in a variety of styles including aluminized fiberglass, aluminized aramid (commonly known by the brand name Kevlar®), and aluminized rayon. Because of our proprietary aluminized film and aluminization process, these high temperature aluminized fabrics offer outstanding reflectivity, durability, and flex-bond. Unlike competitive aluminized fabrics, we use an inherently fire retardant adhesive in our aluminization process. This fire retardant adhesive withstands high temperatures longer than competitive fabrics, leading to more durable and protective proximity suits and eliminating concerns about de-lamination.
