The X50 Short Duration Fire Entry Suit is a heavily insulated aluminized suit designed to protect from extreme heat, sparks, and brief engulfment or flashover. The X50 fire suit features a Z-Flex® Aluminized Fiberglass Fabric radiant shell, Z-Flex® Aluminum Foil Fabric layers for added radiant protection, fiberglass insulation to protect from exposure to conductive and convective heat, and a Neoprene lining to protect from steam, vapor, and gas. All X Series suits are designed to be worn over standard industrial work wear. It is important for users to wear long-sleeve shirts and pants made with non-flammable fibers.
The X50 suit can be used in a wide range of industries and applications including in the petrochemical, foundry, and civil defense industries for hot maintenance, specialized rescue, and fire entry operations.
