Zetex® & ZetexPlus® wire-reinforced high-temperature fabrics, featuring stainless steel wires twisted into the yarn, offer superior strength, abrasion, puncture, and heat resistance. They excel in high-temperature, high-vibration environments, dissipating heat for enhanced resistance. Newtex greige wire-reinforced fabrics surpass competitors by incorporating wire into both warp and weft yarns.
Zetex® wire fabrics endure temperatures up to 1000°F / 540°C and peaks of 1300°F / 700°C. ZetexPlus® Vermiculite Coating extends this to 1500°F / 815°C and 2000°F / 1095°C, respectively. Common applications include turbine blankets, diesel engine insulation, and removable insulation pads and jackets in refineries, power plants, and offshore drilling platforms.
Newtex wire-reinforced fabrics are UL approved and NFPA 701 certified for reliability.
