Z-Shield Hull Board (HB) is designed to be used as a fire-resistant covering for Naval ship hull board or as lagging fabric to provide acoustic and thermal insulation and fireproofing. Woven from glass yarn and coated with High Durability Acrylic (HDA) for strong resistance to flame, moisture, and mildew. The Z-Shield Hull Board coating creates a durable, paint-able surface with low flame spread and smoke generation. The coating meets the environmental standards set forth by the US Navy.
Z-Shield Hull Board Facing withstands temperatures up to 1000°F / 540°C. The hull board covering is also available with perforation for improved acoustics.
