Rewettable Coating

A Water-Activated Coating that Dries Hard to Form a Barrier

The rewettable coating is an inorganic clay-based coating applied to Zetex® Fiberglass Fabrics for encapsulation applications. This high temperature fabric can be moistened at the application site and then dries to create a hardened paint-able surface, making it ideal for use in high temperature insulation, lagging, and encapsulation applications, like asbestos abatement. The rewettable coating can withstand temperatures up to 1000ºF / 540ºC.

Common Uses

  • Encapsulation

  • Asbestos Abatement

  • Insulation Systems

  • Lagging
