ATTENTION: This EmberPad is not a fire pit heat shield and will not stop the high heat transfer from fire pit center that can burn decking or grass. We recommend at least 8'' inches of air space between heat source and ground surface. If less than 8'' of air space, raise Fire Pit or Grill to prevent under surface damage.
