The ARCShield ARC70 is a CAT 4 suit designed to provide protection from burns as a result of electrical arc flash in accordance with ASTM F1506 and NFPA 70E.

The suit features a durable shell constructed out of an FR blend of 88% cotton and 12% high tenacity nylon. Coupled with a quilted meta-aramid liner, this suit provides protection up to 70 cal/cm2 for applications with high hazard risk assessments.

Coupling comfort with durability, this US-made suit provides superior protection in the event of an arc flash exposure.

  • Follow instructions on the garment label.

  • Wash this garment with like fabrics only. Do not exceed a wash water temperature of 120°F.

  • High surfactant, low alkalinity detergent formulation is recommended for best cleaning.

  • Do not use bleach. Do not use soap or fabric softeners.

  • Tumble dry on low heat and remove immediately. Do not iron. Do not wring dry.

  • It is the responsibility of the user to determine the potential arc hazard energy level and use PPE garments rated for the potential arc hazard level. Full ensembles should be used to provide whole body protection.

  • This product does not provide insulation from electric shock.

  • This product has not been tested to determine protection against sound, pressure, projectiles or respiratory hazards which may result from an arc flash incident. Flammable contaminants will reduce the thermal performance of any flame-resistant garment.

  • Discontinue use after arc flash exposure.
