The Accounting Associate is responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and general maintenance of the general ledger. This role will be working under the supervision of the Accounting Manager.
Process accounts payable vouchers
Generate sale invoices
Prepare and input monthly journal entries
Review all freight invoices and verify validity
Generate accounts receivable reports and contact customers on delinquent payments as necessary Assist with monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Generate weekly accounts payable payments
Assist in independent audits (i.e. annual CPA review, insurance)
Act as back-up for other Accounting functions as needed
Assist with Human Resources or Administrative functions as necessary

Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree with relevant experience
1-3 years relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping preferred
Knowledge in accounting software, ERP software, spreadsheets
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and multitasking
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Fluent in English
The ability to perform basic data entry may be required
Office cubical environment, occasional exposure to airborne fiberglass
